Propelled to the top of the fashion world by a photogenic gaze he calls Blue Steel, dimwitted male model Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) thinks he's got a fourth consecutive win as Male Model of the Year in the bag. But, when his rival, Hansel (Owen Wilson), unexpectedly takes the crown, Derek is crushed. He becomes easy prey for fashion designer Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell), who signs Derek to star in his Derelicte fashion show, then brainwashes him to kill Malaysia's prime minister.

Think of 'Zoolander' as the anti-Austin Powers set to the retro-kitsch sounds of Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Wham! Stiller spins gags around his harmless idiot and enlists friends and acquaintances to join in on the fun.

The cast is charming, it is filled with quotables and it does handle its satirical elements well, but the movie's plot is pretty disordered and i simply didn't find it funny (in spite of some comedic moments here and there).

This movie is amazing. Maybe not for everyone but at least for me, everything is hilarious. The acting is stupid, the jokes are so bad they are good, the outfits are amazing too, very fun overall. It's a bit confusing it you get your eyes off the screen for a split second, but that's what makes it worth the hour. It's a lovely movie, if you hate it you just don't understand the satire humor lol.

Synopsis
