Fionna and Cake are pretty uninteresting on their run from Scarab the God Auditor to become canon, so they dive into Simon's past with Betty and GOLB to keep this show alive. See more Heebie J @hebzzz Jan 14 The characters are so real. I REPEAT. THE CHARACTERS ARE SO REAL. They feel so three dimensional and you can literally feel their struggles through the screen. My empathy definitely strenthened after wtaching this. Just like the original adventure time, whch was awesome, i feel like this show had some unqiue art style and unique characters too and plot lines and it feels so darn perfect if im being real. Simon was surpisingly my favourite character, his struggles really bled out and reached out to me. And just...its just so good. I cant put it into words. and also donald glover as marshall lee??? id idnt even know i needed that until it happened lmao See more Morgan T @Morgan406 Dec 27 Honestly I didn’t love the Fionna and Cake spin off in the original Adventure time but this serious is for the people. I was a huge fan of Adventure time and watched it a tween and on. Now that I’m in my late 20’s Fionna and Cake really resonates with life now. The creativity and storyline for this show is beyond genius. I adore the creators. The developers really knew what their fans were hoping for, and they exceeded expectations across the board! The only criticism I could make is that when taking a break between episodes, it was slightly difficult to tease out what was “really” going on, compared to what was less-really going on.
