Shirley Li The Atlantic The show held on to the franchise’s core idea that there exists in the universe a constant tension between good and evil. But it boldly interrogated the origins of that dichotomy, focusing on what pushes someone to adopt one set of beliefs over another. May 14, 2025 Full Review Melanie McFarland Salon.com Making Cassian the main focus would obscure the show’s larger point about free societies being hustled off a cliff by mass complacency, facilitated by falsehoods. May 8, 2025 Full Review Rafael Motamayor TheWrap An ambitious, spectacular, poignant, emotionally crushing and very timely season that not only cements this show as the best “Star Wars” story, but also one of the best TV shows of the decade. May 3, 2025 Full Review Sheraz Farooqi CinemaDebate Andor is a masterpiece and by far the best Disney Star Wars project. Brilliant writing, cinematography, performances, & vision create an incredible piece of storytelling. Themes of occupation, imperialism, genocide and fascism are handled brilliantly. Rated: 5/5 May 27, 2025 Full Review Matthew Rozsa Democracy at Work (Substack) To quote one of the Reddit threads cited in this article, “I'm still kind of shocked that this show even exists considering the world's political climate..." Rated: 4/4 May 23, 2025 Full Review Tom Fitzgerald and Lorenzo Marquez Tom & Lorenzo Andor doesn’t diminish other versions of Star Wars, but it does open up the entire universe to more thoughtful storytelling, should any creator want to pick up on it. Phil A This was the best live action Disney series that is masterfully written and executed tying together the events leading to rogue one. I really appreciate the world building and more nuanced/mature themes that parallel real world moral duality of characters of both the rebellion and empire. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/25 Full Review Лëха С Лучшее за последние лет 20 . Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/25 Full Review Audience Member This is what perfect storytelling looks like. Andor’s characters are written, directed, and acted with superb depth and emotion that connected to me in my soul. The plot is realistic, actions have consequences, and the writers and cinematographers overall craft of world building is without peer. I have never experienced a show that made me care about the story, characters, and every detail as much as I do about Andor. This show surpasses The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Attack on Titan, and Breaking Bad to attain my highest regard as a series. This is the definitive choice to be my favorite story ever told in any medium. It is a pleasure to have witnessed such an amazing achievement. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/29/25 Full Review Brandon S The second season did not disappoint. This is still the Star Wars I want and need. Real, gritty... but 100% Star Wars! The set design, costume design, acting, attention to detail... all caried over from season one and are perfect. I want more Star Wars stories just like this... This is how the Star Wars universe should continue to expand and build... lets move from prequels to new characters and content, but that stays true to the universe we have grown to love Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/25 Full Review Audience Member Wow dude!! This was so moving to watch! THIS IS real STAR WAR. Andor is single handedly carrying star wars 8th episode was a bit draggy but the well worth the built up. I had tears by the end of it. Absolutely loved it. Please keep making better Star Wars. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/25 Full Review Audience Member OMG! This show is S tier. I don’t understand how this is the same company that produced the Stars Wars drivel that we have become accustomed to seeing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/25 Full Review Read all reviews
