Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

The hot goss in London remains juicy as ever in Bridgerton's third season, which benefits tremendously from Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton's endearing chemistry.

Lauren Sarner New York Post Overall, the second half of Season 3 is packed with juicy drama, and it remains addictively watchable. Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Nell Geraets The Age (Australia) The second half of the season is packed with everything but the kitchen sink... But all of that fails to distract us from the fact that it’s missing the thing Bridgerton does best: the chase. Rated: 3/5 Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Katie Rosseinsky London Evening Standard The two powerhouse performers make this a friendship worth rooting for. Elsewhere, though, the drama is underwritten, and too much narrative space is given to flimsy plot lines that are hard to engage with. Rated: 3/5 Jun 13, 2024 Full Review Francesca Steele iNews.co.uk That such an unabashedly silly series as Bridgerton has developed some true feminist credentials is a marvel. Especially when it does so alongside the totally absurd proposition that gossip-mongering is a noble cause. Rated: 4/5 Dec 10, 2024 Full Review William Schwartz Book & Film Globe The real fantasy of Bridgerton. Not the romance or the costuming, but the idea of having stiff, yet well-meaning rulers who appreciate friendly competition and won’t go scorched-Earth on any threat if the alternative is ceding even an inch of their power. Nov 5, 2024 Full Review Clotilde Chinnici Loud and Clear Reviews Part 2 does not disappoint, delivering a fitting conclusion to the love story we have seen bloom on our television screens for the past few episodes and, looking back at the previous seasons Sep 14, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Katie H The first two seasons were wonderful. Season 3 can’t even be called Colin and Penelope’s season. You get an unfinished story and five minutes of screen time with them and then every other character in the show gets more of a story and more screen time. Most of these storylines were garbage, rushed, or useless. If season 4 sucks this bad, and I’m sure it will if they use the same show-runner, then Bridgerton may as well be scrapped to save the producers money. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/26/24 Full Review Elle B Proof that 3rd time is not the charm. In comparison to how exciting season 1 and 2 were, plus Queen Charlotte, this missed the mark. Parts of it were good- could have gone without the unnecessary sex scenes. But I was bored Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/14/24 Full Review May V The most real and heart warming of all the couples so far. But by god, did Colin and Penelope break my hear at times, it was a rollercoaster, but that kiss at the very end was the most beautiful I've seen on TV and made up for the moments I thought I was going to explode with nerves. Great cast all around but Newton and Coughlan were exceptional, you could really feel the genuine love they have for their characters. I love the book and I equally love the S3, probably more, can't wait to see how Colin and Penelope navigate being married, being new parents, writers and the Queen, its going to be fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/03/25 Full Review Jared C Disastrous! Barely any focus on the main couple which probably is a good thing as both Colin and Penelope’s characters fall flat. The book was much better Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/10/24 Full Review Tanu R Thrilling and a much better experience than Season 2! The characters were more understandable and nuanced, and for once none of the writing seemed insensible (unlike the male lead’s absolute rotten decision to marry the sister of his love in the last season -.-) The styling could’ve been better, but overall a really nice friends-to-lovers story. Nicola Coughlan was the star as always! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/25 Full Review joe b Sadly season 3 falls flat compared to seasons 1 and 2. Everything was rushed. The writers made some questionable writing choices this season. Sending Kate and Anthony away for multiple episodes took away from the magic of the show Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
