Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

The hot goss in London remains juicy as ever in Bridgerton's third season, which benefits tremendously from Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton's endearing chemistry.

Overall, the second half of Season 3 is packed with juicy drama, and it remains addictively watchable. Go to Full Review

The second half of the season is packed with everything but the kitchen sink... But all of that fails to distract us from the fact that it’s missing the thing Bridgerton does best: the chase. Go to Full Review

The two powerhouse performers make this a friendship worth rooting for. Elsewhere, though, the drama is underwritten, and too much narrative space is given to flimsy plot lines that are hard to engage with. Go to Full Review

After two years of Penelope suffering slights from her family, from society, and even from Colin himself, it's positively beautiful to see the pain-wrinkles on her face smooth out and a beatific smile replace them. Go to Full Review

Season 3 of Bridgerton shows why the friends-to-lovers trope may be old and well-trodden, but is ultimately oh-so-watchable. Go to Full Review

Love stories did steal the show this season, they were just not the romances that Bridgerton made the main focus. Go to Full Review

scaredy R @RT26169303 3d worst season ever!!! colin was giving me icks the whole time and the make up and costume department failed miserably. Jess brownell has to go away and never touch anything about bridgerton!!! BRING BACK CVD!!! or atleast his writing or cinematography team!! s1 s2 look soo expensive compared to the s3 and s4!!! the dialogue were sooo trying to be something and giving bland grassy taste!! i couldn’t look at nicola’s pretty faces with 1000m thick false lashes and her acrylic nails on a regency era??? what was going on here?? my expectations after s2 and qc was sooo high. SOO DISAPPOINTING!! See more Nicole A @nicole23adams 4d I stumbled upon this show because of Bridgerton in reddit and I was horrified about the way fans talk about this season. I finally sat down and watch all the season. I must say this is my fave, the story was planted since season 1. You can how well the leads work well and they’ve developed the chemistry. I wish tho they spent more time with the leads but it still fantastic. See more Betty A @BettyBaga Apr 22 Seeing Colin and Pen finally get together was a beautiful outcome We all cheered. Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton brought a romantic realism to their characters that we often felt we were intruding on real lives . Even though some scenes were cut a little short and taken away from the main leads, it was romantic and real and we cheered as they found their way to embracing their love of each other to their absolute core This was sweet and beautiful and real And so very rewatchable See more R T @mademoisellesjh Apr 22 Always love a friends-to-lovers trope. This season is so overhated but it's actually not that bad! I enjoyed this season a lot because one of the main leads is one of my favorite characters and one of the most complex female characters on this show. There are a lot of hilarious and great, romantic moments. I laughed and i cried this season. I love that this season not only showing a love story between the main leads (Penelope and Colin) but it also shows the relationship between Penelope and her family especially her relationship with her mother. Such a great season. 10/10. See more issy P @21issyperez Apr 20 Friends to lovers is my favorite trope.i enjoyed that the writers didn’t play on the usually emotional cheating plot that is overly used in this trope. They made use of the slow burn story line since s1 to build the story. My only wish is more screentime with Polin See more alex K @Al45kepner Apr 20 One of the best things this show did is cast these two charming people as Pen and Colin. Both talented actors who carried the show from its success in s1. I look forward for more projects from them See more Read all reviews
