Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

Overall, the second half of Season 3 is packed with juicy drama, and it remains addictively watchable. Go to Full Review

The second half of the season is packed with everything but the kitchen sink... But all of that fails to distract us from the fact that it’s missing the thing Bridgerton does best: the chase. Go to Full Review

The two powerhouse performers make this a friendship worth rooting for. Elsewhere, though, the drama is underwritten, and too much narrative space is given to flimsy plot lines that are hard to engage with. Go to Full Review

After two years of Penelope suffering slights from her family, from society, and even from Colin himself, it's positively beautiful to see the pain-wrinkles on her face smooth out and a beatific smile replace them. Go to Full Review

Season 3 of Bridgerton shows why the friends-to-lovers trope may be old and well-trodden, but is ultimately oh-so-watchable. Go to Full Review

Love stories did steal the show this season, they were just not the romances that Bridgerton made the main focus. Go to Full Review

delaney F @delaneyfinch1 2d Loved this season! The central romance was absolutely brilliant. I think it's quite sad that a portion of this show's fandom can be so mean spirited. The "reviewer" (fake, obviously) bellow described this love story as "an embarrassment for women" and claimed it had poor relationship development. Yet, looking at their profile, they rated the previous season very highly—even though it featured an enemies-to-lovers romance in which the male lead initially pursued marriage to the heroine's sister. I'm glad that Penelope is such a multilayered character. She loves, she fails, she learns, and ultimately she succeeds, making for a beautiful and compelling story. This is exactly the kind of female character we need more of: women who are brave, ambitious, and courageous enough to want more than the role society has assigned them. I loved every moment of it. See more tucker T @tuckertunner12 2d loved this season, definitely the most entertaining one! got through it in one sitting which is more than i can say for the other seasons. penelope's character is so refreshing in that she's a great romantic lead but she also has lawyers and it's so fun to watch her try and fail and succeed. colin's character was also great, i think he has a strong arc when you consider the journey he took from season 1. their romance is solid, i love friends to lovers as a trope, and the way they end the season by taking accountability of their actions and still deciding to be together is for sure a love conquers it all moment. See more Baley B @BaleyB Jun 8 I've been a fan of Colin and Penelope since the beginning and their season did not disappoint! So many romantic scenes and the tension with the Lady Whistledown reveal was perfect! Will be watching this one many times! See more dane B @blakedane Jun 7 okat but polin totally delivered! From the moment Penelope and Colin step into every room together, the chemistry is insane. Those looks, those tiny gestures, the way they finish each other’s thoughts, the way they laugh together even during intimate moments, I was here for ALL of it. that's exactly what i love in a romance trope. the slow-burn payoff was Soooo worth it. And gorgeous costumes (the wig work on this season was superior! penelope looked like a genuine redhead). See more scenes D @RT71921309 Jun 7 Pen and Colin completely stole my heart. I went in excited, but I was not prepared for how intense and beautiful the chemistry would be between them. Every single scene they share just sparkles. It’s not only the big romantic moments either — but also the small looks, the way Colin's voice soften around Pen. You can feel the history between them, the longing, the tension that’s been building for seasons finally paying off. What I loved most is how natural it feels. Their dynamic shifts from playful and familiar to deeply emotional in such a believable way. The carriage scene? Iconic. The slow-burn payoff? Worth every second. This season felt more intimate and the romance felt earned. I couldn’t stop smiling. Definitely my favorite season so far. See more polin C @RT42042528 Jun 7 As a longtime Polin fan, Season 3 was everything I hoped for and more. Watching Penelope and Colin finally get their happy ending after years of friendship, longing, and missed opportunities was incredibly rewarding. Their story felt authentic and deeply emotional because it was built on a foundation of trust, understanding, and genuine affection. Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton brought so much heart to their performances. Penelope's journey toward confidence and self-worth was inspiring, while Colin's realization that the person he had been searching for was right in front of him all along was beautifully portrayed. Their chemistry was undeniable, balancing sweet, tender moments with passionate ones that felt earned rather than rushed. Polin's love story is my favorite in the entire series, and I'll happily rewatch it again and again. See more Read all reviews
