87% Tomatometer 69 Reviews 76% Audience Score 2,500+ Ratings Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future. The hot goss in London remains juicy as ever in Bridgerton's third season, which benefits tremendously from Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton's endearing chemistry.

Lauren Sarner New York Post Overall, the second half of Season 3 is packed with juicy drama, and it remains addictively watchable. Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Nell Geraets The Age (Australia) The second half of the season is packed with everything but the kitchen sink... But all of that fails to distract us from the fact that it’s missing the thing Bridgerton does best: the chase. Rated: 3/5 Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Katie Rosseinsky London Evening Standard The two powerhouse performers make this a friendship worth rooting for. Elsewhere, though, the drama is underwritten, and too much narrative space is given to flimsy plot lines that are hard to engage with. Rated: 3/5 Jun 13, 2024 Full Review Christopher Stevens Daily Mail (UK) Bridgerton goes all the way. Rated: 4/5 Jun 17, 2024 Full Review Mikel Zorrilla Espinof Just as entertaining and addictive as the two previous ones (Full Review in Spanish). Grace C Completely disjointed from the other seasons. They put too much extra in this season, too many story lines and filled with clutter. Slight deviations from the book are inevitable and expected, this was more. The took out important parts of the book that made the story worth reading, and implanted storylines that did not matter. There was no yearning, fighting with his emotions and discovering his own feelings. It felt forced and bumpy. Also, would have been nice to actually watch the couple of the season more than maybe 30% of the season. The second half of the show was wasted by Collin being angry and then bam happy fast forward. They are veering away from the books too much and taking the enchantment and the love for the love story away. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review S.m. E Absolutely was disappointed... Too many side stories. Drastic change from book. Minor changes are expected of course, but this is too much. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review B W Was so excited to watch season 3 and ended up feeling very letdown. This season definitely had a different feel than the previous 2. It felt disorganized and the couples lacked chemistry. I skipped the 3-some which added nothing to the story. The realization that Michael will now be a girl was the last straw. I won't watch anymore...just not worth the disappointment. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review Marion M The first four episodes really build up Polin's romance. However, there are TOO many side stories in the season and the last 4 episodes drop the ball greatly. Colin was focused on his anger about Lady W. being Penelope for too long. They should have stuck to the book. The actors executed the scenes splendidly, as did the hair and wardrobe. However, the long awaited intimate "mirror scene" was such a let down. They should have kept the script more closely to the book for the mirror scene as well as the reveal of Lady W. Hair, wardrobe and actors nailed it. Direction and writing needed more focus on what the plot was this season. I LOVED learning about Benedict; which I understand many other viewers did not. I am in love with the foreshadowing of a queer season coming up. However, we did NOT get enough Polin screen time. We got more intimacy from Benedict. Which, again, I LOVED seeing his intimate moments (as I am a Benedict fan/queer audience member). However, this season was about Polin's romance Francesca didn't seem to have ANY Bridgerton chemistry. She seemed like an odd pick to throw into the season. I am excited to see where she may be next season, but this felt like a filler season when none of the viewers asked for such a season. Cressida deserved to have that one guy that was traveling to the Americas. He just left on episode 4 and we didn't have any confirmation about him leaving/no longer having an interest in finding a wife anymore. It was really confusing because he clearly had an interest in Penelope AND Cressida. He could have began to court Cressida with the let down of Penelope. There was so much tension built up and we got an amazing first 4 episodes. They dropped the ball with the last 4 episodes. We got too much plot for not enough episodes. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review Audience Member absolutely stunning season of bridgerton, once again a beautiful show filled with love, escapism, humour, drama and banging tunes. the heart warming friends to lovers trope is done extremely well with a couple whos story has spanned the three seasons, there are beautiful character nuances and subtleties as well as dramatic booming moments that will leave you on the edge of your carriage seats. this ensemble show highlights every one of its characters and there is something there for everyone to enjoy. i implore anyone thinking of watching to go in there not take it too seriously and just enjoy this spectacular piece of escapism. BEAUTIFUL⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review Lisa P This season has been truly exceptional, mirroring the impact of its predecessor. The narratives deeply intertwine with the characters, evoking a profound connection and fostering hope for their triumphs. A standout element this season is the undeniable love and chemistry shared between Colin and Penelope. Their affection radiates through every scene, inviting viewers to empathize with their journey. Despite their imperfections, they inspire each other to strive for personal growth and mutual happiness. Their story epitomizes a profound and authentic love, making it a heartfelt recommendation.
