Phillip Maciak The New Republic Robert and Michelle King’s show fits an enormous story about the fallibility of humankind inside a network procedural. Aug 3, 2024 Full Review Kristen Baldwin Entertainment Weekly As always, Robert and Michelle King's ingenious and triumphantly weird series blends relatable interpersonal drama with clever philosophical quandaries and equal-opportunity satire. Jun 4, 2024 Full Review Kristy Puchko Mashable Whether a defiant levity, an uncharacteristic fury, or an absorbing obsession, these attitudes brew a tension as they push their players to a breaking point. May 29, 2024 Full Review Robert W. Butler Butler's Cinema Scene I’d like to hang out with series creators Michelle and Robert King. I mean, people who can effortlessly mix demonic possession and insouciant humor are bound to be fine dinner companions. Oct 5, 2024 Full Review Joshua Rivera The Ringer The unlikely cult hit blended procedural casework, casually profound philosophical debate, off-kilter humor, and B-movie horror. It will be remembered as one of the great series of its era. Aug 31, 2024 Full Review Lindsay Traves Pajiba Its finale didn’t tie anything up into a bow, but it did what Evil grew to do best: gave us a campy last shot and told us that the real evil is subscription services. Esra Y Evil still has so much potential and a lot more to tell in it's witty, horrific, fun story Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/06/24 Full Review Aymen A A great show hopping to be continued more than 4 seasons Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/04/24 Full Review Lou G Excellent! Got better every season! Sad its ending after 4 seasons. Keeping fingers crossed someone picks it up and continues a season 5..and beyond. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/02/24 Full Review Matt M GREAT SHOW … BUT …. DO NOT BRING THE LITTLE GIRLS BACK THEY ARE IRRITATING AS HELL AND CANNOT ACT. THE TALKING OVER EACH OTHER AND CONSTANT YELLING RUINS THE WHOLE SHOW. I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED IF THAT IS WHY THE SHOWS CANCELLED. THEY SUCK. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/28/24 Full Review michael p So I have watched all 4 seasons and I am at a loss as to why it was canceled. It has great ratings. Very likeable characters. Its about a priest and a psychologist and a scientist. They investigate claims of evil entities in various situations. There is a bad guy named LeLand that will make you mad and laugh. Sister Andrea who can see demons and hilariously hunts them. There is so much here. I'm so tired of wonderful shows being canceled. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/25/24 Full Review Sonja S I loved Evil. But, the writing in the last season wasn't as good as previous seasons. Spoiler alert: The episode with the satanist dancers never explained why the one girl was kicked out of the dance group. The only explanation given was she was a prude. And, Kristen being into a satanist and meeting them in the woods alone was out of character. Kristen also saw the "muse" floating around and never questioned it. Also, the situation with Andy being in the hospital and had high liver enzymes... They would have done a drug test. He even said he wanted one. If they had, Kristen would have known he wasn't on drugs but the drug Leland was using on him would have shown up. And, they most definitely would have done a drug test when he was found with a needle in his arm. So, that whole scenario didn't fly. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review Read all reviews
