John C It's impossible to understand how people could recommend or appreciate this final season. There is no scenario at all, no storyline. Each episode ends brutaly without solving or closing the actual plot On top of that, once an oustanding character, complex and intriguing, Kristen became an unsufferable stupid and immature person, not to mention a terrible acting performance from Katja Herbers. Nur ohne Ufos, sondern mit Dämonen. Man merkt dem Cast die Spielfreude deutlich an. Und so wie es sein soll, ist nahezu jede Folge auch ein neuer Fall. Man kann viele interessante Diskussionen über Glauben erleben, aber auch unheimliche Dämonen, die skurrile Gespräche führen. Man könnte sagen, wie neben Akte X auch eine Erwachsenenversion von Buffy. Und mit fortschreitenden Folgen wird es sehr Erwachsen. Vor allem im Umgang mit Sexualität. Allerdings nicht Explizit. Mehr auf moralischer Ebene. Das Make Up ist Top. Auch die Herangehensweise mit einem angehenden Priester, einer Gerichts Psychologin und einem Techniker. Was die Serie besonders macht ist auch, dass nie ganz klar ist, was wirklich ist und was nicht. Es ist ein genialer Drahtseilakt. Auch der "Hauptgegner" macht eine sehr bedrohliche "gute Figur". Es ist erstaunlich mit wieviel Kreativität hier herangegangen wird. Ab Staffel 2 leutet ein Bilderbuch die Folge ein. Das macht Laune. Hin und wieder gibt es auch den Hinweis: Wer den Vorspann weiterskipt, wird von Dämonen heimgesucht. Rotten Tomatoes: Staffel 1: 92% Staffel 2: 95% Staffel 3: 100% Staffel 4: 100% und Rotten Tomatoes Awards als beste Horror Serie. Es gibt auch viel zu lachen. Absolute Empfehlung. This series had me hooked, even after four incredible seasons—I found myself wanting more. The writing was exceptional, and at times, it had me questioning many Vatican beliefs.
