Andrew Male Times (UK) Nuanced, funny, carefully observed and with a pivotal turn from Michael Cera as a quixotic farmer, the show reveals a flawed, vulnerable and relatable side to Schumer that is as welcome as it is surprising. Jul 8, 2022 Full Review Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald Amy Schumer returns to the small screen in this emotionally dappled half-hour series, which retains some of Schumer’s trademark earthy humour but dials back on the gags in order to tell a story of personal awakening and existential reorientation. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 25, 2022 Full Review Judy Berman TIME Magazine The pieces just don’t add up to a satisfying whole. Mar 21, 2022 Full Review Martin Carr Yahoo! Movies This one woman showcase from Amy Schumer struggles to deliver on the drama. May 21, 2023 Full Review M.N. Miller Ready Steady Cut It’s like Hulu ripped its latest comedy from the mind of Judd Apatow. Amy Schumer’s Life & Beth is her funny and personal pathos about adulthood. Omar G Honestly question other reviews, the show lacks substance and heart. There's more comedy in crime investigations dramas than this entire series. Amy just lacks charisma and relatability, very out of touch. Wish i could ask for a refund of all the time I wasted on this show. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/03/24 Full Review Aaron C I was surprised at how charming this show becomes pretty quickly. The first episode is actually the weakest and most obnoxious at turns. After that, the pace settles down and there are so many moments my wife and I just kept rewinding to watch again because they're so hilarious. Who knew Schumer had this in her? A++ We're almost done the first season and I can't wait to see where this goes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Geaux P Blaaaahhhhaaaarrrfff!!!! How can people even view this through dry heaves?! Blaaaaaalllaaarrrfff!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Hend A Not funny at all m. No story . Bunch of airheads together casting is like an elementary school casting . Wasted my time . Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Moko K Pretty slow moving. Some amusing moments. Many annoying characters. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Jennifer N This show is moving. It's funny in a sarcastic like laugh about your life kinda way. It's drama that speaks of trauma and in some ways, we can all relate to it. It's a love story, of finding your true person and realizing what exactly that is. It's not the hot, popular guy. And it's def not the weird farmer guy, at least I hope not... Yeah, he's blunt and honest, but he's also selfish and not empathetic. This story is so relatable and one of the best dramas out there!!
