Ken E Despite a A-list cast, Mobland is an awful series. It is q crude series about mob families with no redeeming characteristics, filled with gross and grotesque, gratuitous violence, and a back story that does nothing to explain or justify their reprehensible behaviour. When you compare series like Mobland with, say, The Godfather, you see how far the crime genre has sunk. Avoid this one like the plague. However after 5 or 6 episodes has started to annoy as the characters of Helen Mirren and pierce Brosnan who started out as ridiculously over the top slightly humourous heads of mob family have become tedious, annoying characters and repition has set in. A lot of the female characters I don't think are very well written and are used as the plot device to create issues for no logical reason. Have not finished the season as could not get past episode 5 or 6.
