John S This show does not make any sense. Laziness and cruelty is rewarded while skill and decency appears to be punished. Alpha, consistent of the Texas Lazy Boys, won after kicking out their last, skilled team mate. Delta, demonstrating the spirit of the show through and through, were left behind. Not worth watching. They had more heart, integrity, skill, etc. They would have won if the show execs gave them a fair shot. The last challenge was to go to the northern bank. Delta had to go 13.3km (8.26 miles) while team Bravo had to go 14.6km (9.07 miles). Let’s not add team Bravo had a harder route (forests, wetlands, and waterways), while Delta had an easier path (less woods and water crossings). If you are going to make a competition show make it fair or your ratings will suffer. I’m done watching. I hated that Alpha discontinued rather than try with another team. That woman age 32, should have either waited to see the way across and back with some supplies first or let Drew go. And when a camp was down, get as much as you could carry the first time. I don't understand why anyone waited on someone else to go out to hunt for food. Pick someone in rotation to watch the fire and each use your strengths to find food, or reinforce the shelter daily.. I want to be in there so bad. I wouldn't pass medical but I want to go anyway. The team that lost was the team that demonstrated actual teamwork, integrity, and NEED for the award money. Way better humans overall than what we saw of the team that won. Tedious editing and rules that reward bad behavior and backstabbing led to the most disappointing of endings. Final challenge seemed patently unfair (one easy route, one hard route), a poor test of survival skills, and—again—designed to reward those who seek to maximize personal gain/betrayal at the expense of team building and trust. Won’t watch again. Alone is 1,000x better.
