Kristy Puchko Mashable It's with great joy (and even greater relief) that I report Party Down Season 3, much like its wacky waitstaff, overcomes incredible obstacles to offer up something sweet and salty that's totally worth savoring. May 24, 2023 Full Review Alison Herman The Ringer The 2023 version of Party Down is less wrenching than its recession-era predecessor, but no less funny Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Alissa Wilkinson Vox There’s a strange comfort to watching this new season of the show. Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Joe Reid Primetimer Party Down was cut short while it was still fresh, and it’s gratifying to see it show its best self. The entertainment industry may be bleaker than ever, but riding that wave with this group of funny and lovable failures makes it easier to bear. Aug 6, 2023 Full Review Vikram Murthi The Nation Returning over a decade after it was originally canceled, the cult series remains a potent satire of meritocracy and Los Angeles. Apr 18, 2023 Full Review William Schwartz Book & Film Globe This is the quintessential American experience, especially for anyone who moves to Los Angeles. The narcissism of unrealistic expectations, and the need to see the past and its pointless indignities as somehow mattering to the present moment. Apr 2, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

DMD D What happened? The writing is terrible this season, it's lazy and without the edge or humor from seasons 1 and 2. The acting is tired and the lack of chemistry between the cast is palpable. Fail. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/14/23 Full Review Debbie S Please bring on season 4 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review Pam S Laugh out loud funny! I really liked seasons 1 & 2, but season 3 is beyond. Adam Scott is excellent and is great with Jennifer Garner. Every cast member is perfect and wish there were more than 6 episodes. Would love to see more. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/11/23 Full Review Sarah C Best show, best season (without Kacey!!) Constance and Ron are the best. Perfect comedic commentary on Covid, Nazis in America. 10/10 only wish it was 10… or 20! Episodes!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Caitlin F Party Down actually manages to achieve a reboot season that is just as good if not better than the original seasons. Adam Scott is so good, his "common man" bit at the end of episode 3 was chef's kiss. The opening episode makes fun of itself and the audience expectations and it just takes off from there, great to see that the characters have grown since we left them and bringing them back together doesn't feel too forced or trite. I think it could have done with 1 more episode as the last one felt like it was trying to cram in a lot of story, but overall such a great season that continues the dark yet charming vibe of the original and genuinely had me laughing out loud. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/01/23 Full Review Maurice M Smart, funny and effortlessly likeable. We can only hope for another season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
