Don Aucoin Boston Globe Its original cast was largely intact. More important, its original quality was, too. Oct 30, 2024 Full Review Kristy Puchko Mashable It's with great joy (and even greater relief) that I report Party Down Season 3, much like its wacky waitstaff, overcomes incredible obstacles to offer up something sweet and salty that's totally worth savoring. May 24, 2023 Full Review Alison Herman The Ringer The 2023 version of Party Down is less wrenching than its recession-era predecessor, but no less funny Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Joe Reid Primetimer Party Down was cut short while it was still fresh, and it’s gratifying to see it show its best self. The entertainment industry may be bleaker than ever, but riding that wave with this group of funny and lovable failures makes it easier to bear. Aug 6, 2023 Full Review Vikram Murthi The Nation Returning over a decade after it was originally canceled, the cult series remains a potent satire of meritocracy and Los Angeles. Apr 18, 2023 Full Review William Schwartz Book & Film Globe This is the quintessential American experience, especially for anyone who moves to Los Angeles. The narcissism of unrealistic expectations, and the need to see the past and its pointless indignities as somehow mattering to the present moment. Apr 2, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Yolo K Not as good as the first 2 seasons, but worth a watch. Could have been better without the boring pointless love interest played by an uninspired Jennifer Garner who just doesn't fit in here chemistry wise. Still, the old cast was top notch and the new kitchen staff did fit in quite well. Would definitely watch another season if they made it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/25 Full Review J H An absolutely pointless revival. Example: just as I was getting used to Jennifer Garner's character, she and Adam Scott's character break up, Lizzy Kaplan's character comes back, the series ends... wait, what? Stick with the first two seasons. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/25 Full Review Ben H Sooo glad they made a Season 3, but now they have just left me wanting more... Please make a Season 4! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/25 Full Review Ted C somehow a thirteen-year gap made it better Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review DMD D What happened? The writing is terrible this season, it's lazy and without the edge or humor from seasons 1 and 2. The acting is tired and the lack of chemistry between the cast is palpable. Fail. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/14/23 Full Review Debbie S Please bring on season 4 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
