Teddy B 09/19/2024 Roald Dahl's short stories are absolutely masterful, but I can't help but feel like this show was made at the wrong time. It could work in the late 50s-60s as a 'Twilight Zone' or 'Outer Limits'-esque series and it can work in modern day as a horror-thriller anthology, but the aesthetic of the series encapsulates some of the cheapness of 70s television. The acting is superb, and Roald Dahl's introductions are a treat, though. See more Read all reviews
