When nuclear Armageddon destroys civilization on Earth, the only survivors are those on the 12 international space stations in orbit at the time. Three generations later, the 4,000 survivors living on a space ark of linked stations see their resources dwindle and face draconian measures established to ensure humanity's future. Desperately looking for a solution, the ark's leaders send 100 juvenile prisoners back to the planet to test its habitability. Having always lived in space, the exiles find the planet fascinating and terrifying, but with the fate of the human race in their hands, they must forge a path into the unknown.

Dalene Rovenstine Entertainment Weekly Listen, I am here for this futuristic alien vibe that's going on with the anomaly. It's weird, and I think we deserve a break from the us vs. them / "are we good? are we bad?" themes that this show has overdone a bit by now. May 22, 2020 Full Review Delia Harrington Den of Geek This season has a lot to live up to, and saying farewell is notoriously difficult. But if this episode (and the three others critics could view) are any indication, we're in excellent hands. Rated: 4/5 May 22, 2020 Full Review Haleigh Foutch Collider While we've only seen four of the final season's extended sixteen-episode run, it's evident that challenge is more relevant than ever to the themes of the story The 100 wants to tell Rated: B May 22, 2020 Full Review Amanda Reimer The Young Folks Season seven seems to additionally have the capacity to recycle a considerable amount of the same threads and concepts from past seasons, while seemingly not proving that they can tie them together to make a cathartic ending. Rated: 7/10 May 22, 2020 Full Review Sam Stone CBR The 100's new season hits the ground running -- literally -- barely giving its characters and, by extension, its audience, the chance to breathe as the stakes are raised once again. May 22, 2020 Full Review Lauren Busser Tell-Tale TV This is a pleasant start to the final season and there's a lot of emotional resonance to be explored. Josh W Truly a rollercoaster of entirely weird plotlines that make sense but somehow don't at the same time. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/25 Full Review Steven J Final season of this show is quite better than its score. People got angry about some between character "shocking" events. I get it, fans got invested in their favs. Thing is, that is who the characters in this show are, and always were, they kill to "survive" (achieve, simple goals, that often also are short term), and say they don't want to while always fall back to killing, and as the show went on, they ran out of "others" to kill.. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review Sofia A The show is really good excluding this season. They just invent things that make no sense and characters act in ways they would have never done. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/23/24 Full Review Audience Member Decent Sci-fi, obviously a matriarch obsessed with the dream of female leadership is behind the series, but in this instance it does not get in the way of a good series.. good story telling, acting is good also. Although the first season needed persevering with lots of holes and lose ends, the series ended with its act together. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/16/24 Full Review Pedro Henrique C I didn't like this last season, I think the directors traveled too much Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Kyle S Love this series and love Eliza/Clarke. She's so good!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
