Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller centering on a low level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings -- until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.

The Night Agent has become a victim of its own success. A pale imitation of itself, phoning it in. Go to Full Review

Tellingly, the show doesn’t want to grapple with the way Peter’s hero complex has dulled his humanity. Go to Full Review

Season 2 is a little messier, a little more self-serious and at times slower than the satisfying first go-round, but "Night Agent" still delivers. Go to Full Review

...Episode 5, which is probably my favorite episode of this season. However, the dominoes that fall after that episode kick off a very strong back-half of the season. Go to Full Review

Of all the espionage thrillers out there, The Night Agent stands out for putting some realistic natural consequences to characters’ choices....watching a team regroup after a setback is fascinating when done right. The Night Agent does it all very right. Go to Full Review

David P. @iDontLikeYou 16h Was there a different writer or director for this season? Straight garbage. See more superpinger @Pinger 16h Super unrealistic plot points. But I was still entertained. See more John T @MrJohnred 1d This movie was great, the story throughout had me on edge the, love in the air between rose and Peter was a chefs kiss. However I would of liked Alice off had a bigger role. See more Miriam A @MAA818 Feb 11 Great action packed show that I just binged watched. Both seasons were great and I was really looking forward to season 3 that is about to air next week. When I viewed season 3’s trailer I did not see one of the main characters (Rose) in the previews. I was so disappointed when I googled if she will be in season 3. It mentioned she will not be in it due to the writers not being able to do her character justice! I call BS! I think she played a pivotal role in helping Peter and even though Rose’s character had reservations about the Spy life, her and Peter clearly want to be together and made a great team! The fact that she’s a skilled programmer was perfect and I feel that the writers could have evolved her role to still work alongside Peter but in the background so she’d be safe and out of danger. I also thought the writers could have made the comparison of Peter and Rose being a great spy duo because Rose’s aunt and uncle were and that would have been great to tie that in. See more Drew M. @Stonehands211 Feb 6 It’s hilarious that this season seems to be hated when it’s heaps better written. The end definitely feels Marvel-esque though lol. Looking forward to S3. I’ll hate it if we don’t get to hear Peter call for Rose a million times though. Best part of both seasons! See more Menka M @Menka_13 Feb 2 Absolutely loved it! A great mix of drama and thriller with an excellent cast. It keeps you entertained, engaged and hooked throughout. See more Read all reviews
