This was a frightening "what if" scenario--the nightmare every parent dreads. It makes sense in a twisted way when you realize what happens, and of course you wonder what "will" happen to the parents after all is said and done. The character of Miren is complex and troubled. There are times when that makes sense, and there are times when she is just irritating (and I'm not talking about her trauma, btw)--that's why the score is not a perfect rating. But her determination to find the child, and her description of her experience at the end is poetic, sad, and beautiful all at once.

I watched the entire first season in one go. I thought it was well-written and the casting was fantastic. A terrific story that keeps you on the edge of your seat and one of the first series to truly show the almost unending struggle that women face when they are the victims of rape and sexual assault. It got the utter frustration that comes with dealing with the police in these situations and the despair that comes when the search for justice drags on with no end in sight.

So far, so good. I just kept asking myself, when did big lips become a sign of a good actress, eg, Angelina Jolie. That's all I kept focusing on while the female reporter was on screen. I didn't see any fine acting skills, and was left to believe that her big lips landed her the role. 👄

just disappointing. Cannot really discuss without giving away the plotlines. Story was very intriguing from the start but then took an unbelievable turn. I do not think the character of Miren was cast with the right actor.

It is a great tv series to watch and it is very entertaining with transformative, provocative performances by young and up&coming actors and highly talented, experienced veteran actors. The Spanish TV series production is worth the investment of time and energy to watch as the creative and addictive storytelling unfolds in the screenplay. The director narrates his scenes like a well done storyboard through picture by picture.
