Al D Only good for TWD fans. The show really lost something once Daryl and Rick were no longer a team. Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/25 Full Review Audience Member Smooth, unhurried narration with a good plot, well-written minor characters that are interesting to follow. Many people say that there is not enough dynamism, but as for me, on the contrary, it has a bad effect on the series. Also, some people note that they allegedly do not see anything new in the events of the series, but as for me, this is just a new independent part of the story that was so missed. In the same spin-off about Negan and Maggie, the plot was too dynamic and sharp with the addition of many undisclosed minor characters who absolutely don't care, only some are memorable. At the end of the season, there is a scene with the disclosure of the antagonist by doing a good deed, which is also a plus. The story reveals Daryl's personality well. A clean Daryl with European clothes? This worked so well. Not to mention the beautiful scenes we've seen, pure art. Whoever came up with this concept was a genius. Loved the quick peace of the show as well. The thing I didn't buy is the atraction spark between Isa and Daryl, I think his platonic relationship with Connie felt more natural and real. I dont mind they speak so much English in France because it's obviously for practical purposes. People getting offended are taking things too seriously. Same with religion. We know France is one of the most atheist countries in the world, yet this is a end of the world reality, and its only logical people lean towards religion, cults are such. This is fiction after all. But if you are a TWD fan, this is watchable. The change of scenery and vibe is nice, some great scenic backdrops and filming locations.
