I didn’t read the bookd because i hate reading. And I think its like comparing a apple and a potato. So anyways really loved the series! They cancelled when it was at its peak. See more Brian M @QuantumMouse Dec 7 Wheel of Time is one of the very best screen adaptations of fantasy novels in a long time. It hands-down exceeds expectations. Characters are relatable, motivations are well portrayed, plot and visual design are excellent, and acting is top-tier. It does not spoon feed the audience, yet remains accessible for those who have not read the books. For those who have read the books (like me) in some ways it improves on them. Characters, especially several villains have more depth. The world's visuals are superbly done, filling in elements, without contradicting the source material. Purists might dislike the story re-organization and shortening, but in most regards it is a solid, if slimmer re-telling. And it cuts some of the repetition in the novels and some of the the rinse and repeat sequence of "mini-bosses". All in all it is an exciting and sometimes quite moving retelling. I do not hesitate to recommend it nor would I hesitate to watch should it continue past season 3. See more Mike E Dec 2 Love the show! So much work went into making it great. You can tell in the production and set, and costumes. The cast is amazing. Keep the story going. Can’t believe it got cancelled either. We need this show now more than ever, the story is what matters, let’s save the show. Streaming services shouldn’t be able to start a series, unless they promise to finish it. Truly unbelievable.😞 See more M M Nov 23 The show had become so beautifully cinematic, with superb performances from the entire company, let by Pike at her absolute best. Each season was more intriguing and daring. The series cancellation was a shock, and extremely perplexing as the momentum a potential fourth season was beautifully developed with some great cliffhangers. Did the pace of the storytelling get stuck a few times? Yes. Was it odd that so much was made of the forsaken, yet so few of their plot lines dominated the third seasons? Again, yes. But the show was largely a success and extremely enjoyable to watch. Pike could read a owners manual for an alarm clark and be incredibly compelling. Hopefully she, and others can successfully move it to another network or streaming service. We want their world to continue! See more Read all reviews
