Marcus Rutherford
British actor Marcus Rutherford found success early, bursting onto the scene in dramatic fashion. A native of Nottingham, England, he began acting as part of The Television Workshop, a developmental program. He was cast as the lead in the James Jones drama "Obey" (2018) which dealt with the 2011 London Riots. Playing Leon, a troubled young man who falls in love with a socially progressive woman, he earned critical praise. He made a guest appearance on the television mystery "Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators" (BBC One, 2018- ). He then joined Harris Dickinson and Ashley Madekwe for the drama "County Lines" (2019). He was cast as Perrin Aybara in the fantasy television series "The Wheel of Time" (Amazon, 2020- ), based on Robert Jordan's novel.
