An all-star cast head to a resort and unleash their worst, most privileged impulses. The series is a sharp social satire following the exploits of various guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, whose stay becomes affected by their various dysfunctions. A week in the life of vacationers is unravelled as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. With each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel's cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself.

Drew Gregory Autostraddle Mike White is a strong enough writer that even when there’s less cohesion it’s still going to be enjoyable to watch. Apr 15, 2025 Full Review Sarah Manavis New Statesman Viewers can continue to tell themselves they are getting something out of watching privileged characters in paradise having a less than perfect time, but it’s increasingly difficult to say that it is anything close to good. Mar 27, 2025 Full Review Phillip Maciak The New Republic Several screener episodes in, I’m hoping it never blows up, that it stays at this exquisite simmer, but, as White keeps visually suggesting, the tsunami is on its way. Mar 5, 2025 Full Review Kong Rithdee Bangkok Post The use of catchy Thai pop tunes is an adorable localisation touch, but sometimes it's just too much and irrelevant. Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) This White Lotus stay seems destined to age like fine wine. It's definitely the most contemplative and foreboding installment White has crafted thus far, and it arguably boasts the best ensemble thus far. Apr 20, 2025 Full Review Jackie K. Cooper jackiekcooper.com Not as flashy a storyline as the first two seasons but oh how intriguing these new characters are. Rated: 6/10 Apr 16, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Daminda M Agonising slow.. disconnected plots and repetitive dialogues.. S3 - what a way to ruin White Lotus.. ! Don’t bother wasting 9hours of your life…! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/08/25 Full Review Richard B The Arcs of Triumph Season 3 of White Lotus is slow but superb. Each of the horrible rich tourist's tales provide agonising, transformative character arcs. In fact, that seems to me to be the message behind the title, lifted from Homer. Rich people land on a foreign paradise, consume the white lotus and are transformed by the experience, much as Odysseus's shipmates were in the Odyssey. Of course, the innocents - the natives - are portrayed favourably, though even they are transformed. The resort guard in love with one of the hotel workers changes from being a passive Buddhist to a gun toting killer. The visiting masseuse has an affair with a local therapist and goes on to extort $5 million from a shady character from Season 1 (don't ask) under the influence of her visiting son. But a worse fate is in store for the rich outsiders, death and near death experiences abound. There is also an obvious attack on masculinity throughout - the shrivelled materialistic men, Goggins, Issacs and Schwazenegger get it in the neck - but Mike White spares no one. Every frame tells a story and that makes this particular series, the best of a very good bunch. An immaculate black comedy with laugh out loud lines and a jet black heart. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/25 Full Review Shawn K best show on TV, and it's not close Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/07/25 Full Review Travis D I enjoyed the ending where the 8 episode payoff was nothing. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/06/25 Full Review Audience Member White Lotus 3 is the most ridiculously boring dumb series I have ever seen! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS DISASTER! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/06/25 Full Review casey W The curiosity of the characters and “who dies at the end?” Theme continues in this season. Some characters and their stories were more interesting than others (again, much like the previous seasons characters). However, this season felt more gripping and a really made me ask the question who the hell is going to die!?. This was also the first season where my two favourite characters were killed off (Rick and Chelsea - played by the amazing and talented Walton Goggins and the upcoming Aimee Lou Wood) I thought the story, the and life-threatening situations, and excellent acting made this season.
