An all-star cast head to a resort and unleash their worst, most privileged impulses. The series is a sharp social satire following the exploits of various guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, whose stay becomes affected by their various dysfunctions. A week in the life of vacationers is unravelled as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. With each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel's cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself.

Sarah Manavis New Statesman Viewers can continue to tell themselves they are getting something out of watching privileged characters in paradise having a less than perfect time, but it’s increasingly difficult to say that it is anything close to good. Mar 27, 2025 Full Review Phillip Maciak The New Republic Several screener episodes in, I’m hoping it never blows up, that it stays at this exquisite simmer, but, as White keeps visually suggesting, the tsunami is on its way. Mar 5, 2025 Full Review Inkoo Kang The New Yorker There’s something similar at work in the third season, a promiscuous application of the formula that yields diminishing returns. It isn’t just the characters who seem a bit lost in Thailand; White does, too. Feb 22, 2025 Full Review Jackson Weaver CBC News The cynicism and meaninglessness of White Lotus's character endings is something of the point. Few are given ones that are really deserved. But that's not how life works, either. All we can do is try to come up with a meaning for ourselves. Rated: 4/5 Apr 7, 2025 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) In the mad rush to tie the stories up, it did seem like several Shakespeare plays were being staged at once. But when the acting talent matches the writing and the setting is just right, the old magic is still there Apr 7, 2025 Full Review Susan Granger SSG Syndicate Season 3 isn't as much fun. Epitomized by menacing lizards & monkeys amid repetitive water imagery, the drama is darker & slower paced, multiple storylines & faked fantasies less compelling, characters less empathetic and acerbic dialogue less biting. John-Joe S After the absolute genius of the 2nd season this is an absolutely huge drop in quality. Nowhere near as funny or dramatic. The characters are one dimensional and boring. A slog. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Keremcan B These days, there's a common pattern for almost all TV series: They start good, but begin to go downhill on 2nd or 3rd seasons. And unfortunately TWL is no exception. This was a mediocre and boring season with lots of plot holes and illogicalities. It wasted potential on so many good actors and location. Everyone watching was focused on who'll die on the finale, and unfortunately the finale was a mess. Maybe companies should begin using AI to write scripts for TV series, as unfortunately human writers doesn't seem capable anymore. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Eva B Great actors and actresses once again. The stories this season weren't my favorite. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Giulia P Just terrible. Brilliantly acted but poor script and very predictable story. A boring show that was followed and watched only thanks to the hype and the success of the previous two seasons (which were good). A waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Johannes B While it had some good moments (Parker Posey…) it was pretty slow and the ending a let down. Not up to par with the first two seasons. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Maribeth B Its boring. Season 1 and 2 is the best. This season is just bad.Lisa’s character is so irrelevant. Dont know why she is even there Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/07/25 Full Review Read all reviews
