Jasper Rees Daily Telegraph (UK) Thus this Christie feels like a long skip to the centre of an impeccably clipped maze, followed by a long trudge to the exit. Rated: 3/5 Apr 4, 2025 Full Review Carol Midgley Times (UK) It is well written and well acted, a romantic distraction from our many modern woes, and like any new Christie adaptation feels like the sun coming out after a long winter. Rated: 3/5 Mar 6, 2025 Full Review Lucy Mangan Guardian Even if you’re no great fan or an arch traditionalist, you find yourself lingering long enough for your mystery glands to start juicing and suddenly find yourself locked in for the duration. Rated: 3/5 Mar 6, 2025 Full Review Lacy Baugher Paste Magazine Beyond Rhys’s performance, this isn’t the sort of mystery that will stay with you for long after you’ve watched it, but it’s all pleasant enough that you won’t mind spending a summer afternoon at Gull’s Point. Rated: 7.5/10 Apr 11, 2025 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said A streaming version of the Agatha Christie murder mystery Towards Zero is the darkest, riskiest Christie production to date. There’s so much going on in this rich mystery, it positively vibrates with movement and tension. Rated: 3/4 Apr 11, 2025 Full Review Eilis O'Hanlon Irish Independent There wasn’t a laugh to be had in the whole of Towards Zero. That truly was unforgivable, not to mention a shocking waste of a fine cast, not least Anjelica Huston as Lady Tressilian. Mar 20, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

John T One of the slowest and dullest Christie adaptations yet seen. The UK TV critics seem to get very indulgent when they appraise anything by Christie-- on this one The Guardian more or less stated ordinary rules do not apply! But ( but at least from reviews posted so far) the actual audience will be less forgiving of this utterly flat and pedestrian adaptation, brimming with cliched characters and long sequences n which not very much happens. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/26/25 Full Review peter m A terrible production of a great story. An unbelievable number of poor performances from a cast that really should do better and a joyless script contribute to a tedious slog of a watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review James M I’m amazed at some of the so called critics reviews. This is awful. There isn’t a single character to care about. The script is dire and the acting not much better. The plot, if you can call it that, hops from scene to scene in a disjointed way. How did the BBC approve this shambles. It can’t have been cheap to make. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/15/25 Full Review Ben W Really, overpoweringly terrible. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/12/25 Full Review Read all reviews
