      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Tulsa King's stale comedy sometimes feels like ordering spaghetti with marinara and instead getting egg noodles and ketchup, but Sylvester Stallone still commands the screen with his swaggering charm.

Nick Schager The Daily Beast Sheridan’s latest is less grim and brooding than corny and amusing—a shift that suits Stallone. Jan 30, 2023 Full Review Ben Dowell Times (UK) In between moments of somewhat cartoonish violence, Sly’s wisecracking about a world that is unfamiliar in just about every way imaginable allows this to tick along nicely. Nov 18, 2022 Full Review Liz Shannon Miller Consequence The biggest question mark hovering over Tulsa King at this point is how deep and dark it's capable of going, and whether Stallone might be pushed outside his comfort zone into some truly vulnerable territory. Jonathan H Thoroughly enjoyed the first season of this show. There is definitely some character development scattered throughout and most of the main characters are interesting. Without spoiling anything, both of the "villains" were fairly basic and one-dimensional. We had a little backstory on one and learned about his motivation, but the other was fairly cartoonish. With that said, I feel that Sly is perfect for this role and he does a great job at balancing the toughness with the sensitivity. Looking forward to another season! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review rashid W Sly delivers 👍. A good show and entertaining without being overly long and stretched out. If they make a second season I will be watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Peter G Would be better if Sly played more kind of a godfather than trying to be a womanizer/action hero Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review GERARDO P Un papel escrito para Stallone, de esas series que hacian muchos años me agrado bastante. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Coco L Surprisingly good for another serie around mafia. It lay good fundation, now let's see where it goes. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/24 Full Review Gerry S Sylvester Stallone interpretando a Sylvester Stallone pero en una serie que se me hizo súper divertida y que disfrute muchisimo.
