Michael Stearns

Michael Stearns worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Stearns's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the William Smith action picture "Chrome And Hot Leather" (1971), the crime flick "Harry in Your Pocket" (1973) with James Coburn and the Bruno Kirby romantic comedy "Almost Summer" (1978). He also appeared in the TV movie "Last Hours Before Morning" (NBC, 1974-75). He also was featured in the miniseries "The Blue Knight" (1973-74). In the seventies and the nineties, Stearns devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Amityville Horror" (1979) starring James Brolin, "Chronos" with Ron Fricke (1985) and "Tropical Rain Forest" (1992) starring Geoffrey Holder. He also worked on "Baraka" (1993) and "The Temptress" with Kim Delaney (1995). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Stearns lent his talents to projects like "Passion in the Desert" (1998), "The Mystery of Chaco Canyon" (PBS, 1999-2000) and "The Alamo" (2004). His credits also expanded to "Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure" with Cheryl Hunter (2007). Stearns most recently appeared on the documentary "Samsara" (2012) with Marcos Luna.
