Adrienne Posta's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the Sidney Poitier drama "To Sir With Love" (1967), the comedy "Here We Go 'Round the Mulberry Bush" (1968) with Barry Evans and the Richard Johnson comedic adaptation "Some Girls Do" (1969). She continued to act in productions like the comedy "All the Way Up" (1970) with Warren Mitchell, "Percy" (1970) and "Spring and Port Wine" (1970) with James Mason. Toward the end of her career, she continued to act in the Frankie Howerd comedy "Up Pompeii" (1971) and the Elke Sommer comedy "Carry on Behind" (1975). Posta more recently acted in the comedy "Adventures of a Private Eye" (1977) with Hilary Pritchard.
