Alan Wilder was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Wilder's acting career began with roles in action films like "Betrayed" (1988) with Debra Winger and Tom Berenger, "Child's Play" (1988) with Catherine Hicks and Chris Sarandon and the Macaulay Culkin blockbuster "Home Alone" (1990). He also appeared in the TV movie "Two Fathers' Justice" (NBC, 1984-85). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Dolly Parton comedy "Straight Talk" (1992) and the Morgan Freeman action film "Kiss the Girls" (1997). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Second Half" (NBC, 1993-94). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Jack Burns comedy "Sour Grapes" (1998), the dramatic adaptation "A Civil Action" (1998) with John Travolta and "Public Enemies" (2009). Wilder also contributed music to "The Hole" (2001) with Thora Birch. Wilder most recently acted on "Chicago Fire" (NBC, 2012-).
