Anna Fischer
Not long after her big-screen debut in 2003, Anna Fischer landed a star-making role as a 17-year-old who reunites with her father, whom she hasn't seen in years, in the drama "Liebeskind." From that point on, she alternated between theatrical releases and small-screen projects: Through the end of the decade, her best-received work included 2007's "The Hidden Word," a made-for-TV film in which she played a working-class German girl who takes advantage of the chance for an education. In 2010, Fischer played Nora, the more innocent of three vampire women who run amok in "We Are the Night," an unexpectedly thoughtful horror flick set in Berlin.
