Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com I had so much fun watching this exercise in gory genre silliness I almost don't know where to begin. Rated: 3/4 Jun 3, 2011 Full Review Jesse Cataldo Slant Magazine We Are the Night's primary interest seems to be wish fulfillment, but it's hard to tell at times exactly whose fantasies these are supposed to be. Rated: 1.5/4 Jun 3, 2011 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times A love triangle with fangs but no bite, the German import "We Are the Night" is mostly infatuated with its own stylish excesses. Rated: 2/5 May 26, 2011 Full Review Ben Nicholson CineVue We Are the Night never quite hits the right spot. It has plenty of clever moments but it neither provides the requisite entertainment or emotional heft. Rated: 2/5 Feb 5, 2019 Full Review Shaun Munro What Culture It's stylishly constructed and a better feminist vampire yarn than Twilight, but still problematic in itself. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 28, 2012 Full Review Scott Weinberg FEARnet A slick, stylish (sometimes silly) vampire import. (Avoid the English dub version!) Rated: 3/5 Sep 5, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/29/22 Full Review don s Horribly dubbed version of a German vampire movie. Only women are turned into vampires because men are "too stupid and greedy" to handle immortality. This band of lady vamps begin killing indiscriminately and bribing security to let them into malls so the can steal whatever they want - so in other words, they become too stupid and greedy to survive eternally.Merely average effects. The dubbed voices were awful. Not a pleasant experience. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Though seems like another clichéd Vampire film, "We Are The Night" kicks in with interesting perspective about feminism, stylish directing, and with energetic approach. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member in real life yew want Louise to like yew and yew don't give a f about men xD :cc Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked the movie wish there would be a second movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member An unexpected surprise. I went into this film hoping to slum into the escapism and instead discovered an unlike gem in the vampire cannon. Slick without being exploitative and introduces some new food for thought in the discourse of vampire morality. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
