With many years under her belt, Barbara Hammer emerged as a top directing talent over the course of her Hollywood career. Directing for the big screen became a reality for Hammer when she took direction of "Double Strength" (1978). Hammer also directed some films including "Double Strength" (1978). Recently, Hammer helmed a number of films, including "Out in South Africa" (1994). In addition to her directing, Hammer also appeared on-screen in "Tender Fictions" (1995). Most recently, Hammer appeared on "Welcome to this House" (2015).
