Ben Webster was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Webster began his career with roles in "Downhill" (1927) and the Ronald Colman adventure "The Prisoner of Zenda" (1937). He went on to act in the drama "Forever and a Day" (1943) with Anthony Collins and the drama "Lassie Come Home" (1943) with Roddy McDowall. Later in his career, Webster appeared on "A Duke Named Ellington" (PBS, 1987-88).
