Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Billy House graced the silver screen many times. Early on in his acting career, House landed roles in various films, including the comedy "Merry-Go-Round of 1938" (1937) with Bert Lahr, the horror feature "Bedlam" (1946) with Boris Karloff and the Claudette Colbert comedy "The Egg and I" (1947). He also appeared in the Randolph Scott western "Trail Street" (1947). He kept working in film throughout the forties and the fifties, starring in "Inner Sanctum" (1948), the action film "Rogues of Sherwood Forest" (1950) with John Derek and "Where Danger Lives" (1950). He also appeared in "People Will Talk" (1951). Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in the Randolph Scott western "Santa Fe" (1951) and "Outlaw Women" (1952). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Fountain of Youth" (NBC, 1958-59). House more recently acted in "Imitation of Life" (1959) with Lana Turner. House passed away in September 1961 at the age of 72.
