Bob Nelson built quite a career for himself as a vibrant source of comedy, starring in many films throughout his Hollywood career. Nelson started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Edward G Robinson crime flick "The Glass Web" (1953), the horror movie "Tarantula" (1955) with John Agar and the Lee Ann Harris fantasy "Sorceress" (1982). He also appeared in the Timothy Hutton drama "The Falcon and the Snowman" (1985), "Miracles" (1986) with Tom Conti and "Ryder, P.I." (1986). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the drama "Tunes a Plenty" (1989) with Greg Hanec. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Almost Live!" (Comedy Central, 1992-93). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Bob Nelson" (HBO, 1991-92) and "Comedy Central's Documentary of the Making of the Remake of "Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman"" (Comedy Central, 1993-94). Nelson most recently worked on "Trigger Happy TV" (Comedy Central, 2002-03).
