Grammy-winning Bobby McFerrin was a cherished music legend with an exceptional career. He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Evening at Pops" (PBS, 1969-2002). McFerrin also contributed music to the drama "Round Midnight" (1986) with Dexter Gordon and the Tom Cruise comedic drama "Cocktail" (1988). McFerrin was nominated for an Outstanding Cultural Music-Dance Program Primetime Emmy Award for "Bobby McFerrin: Loosely Mozart -- The New Innovators of Classical Music" in 1997. McFerrin won a Best Vocal Arrangement for Two or More Voices Grammy Award in 1985. In the eighties and the nineties, McFerrin devoted his time to various credits, such as "Knickknack" (1989), "Listen Up" (1990) starring Quincy Jones and "Regarding Henry" (1991). He also worked on "Where Are We?: Our Trip Through America" (1992) starring Jeffrey Friedman. McFerrin's music was also featured in "Welcome to Sarajevo" (1997) with Stephen Dillane, "Hush!" (2002) and "Barnyard: The Original Party Animals" (2006). His music was also featured in the Hugh Jackman animated feature "Flushed Away" (2006) and the Fred Willard smash hit animated film "WALL-E" (2008). McFerrin's music was most recently featured in "The Humbling" (2014) with Al Pacino.
