Brian Rooney was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Rooney marked his early career with roles in "Over Here" (1980) with John Doonan, "The Punisher" (1989) with Dolph Lundgren and "Brides of Christ" (1992-93). He went on to act in "Spellbinder" (1995-96), "General Practice" (PBS, 1998-99) and "Butterfly" (PBS, 1999-2000). More recently, Rooney acted in the Leonardo DiCaprio blockbuster dramatic adaptation "The Great Gatsby" (2013).
