Bruno VeSota

Bruno Vesota was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Vesota began his acting career with roles in such films as "Bait" (1954), the Anthony Quinn crime flick "The Long Wait" (1954) and "Jupiter's Darling" (1955) with Esther Williams. He also appeared in the Jayne Mansfield crime picture "Female Jungle" (1956) and the western "The Gunslinger" (1956) with John Ireland. He kept working in film throughout the fifties and the sixties, starring in the Allison Hayes horror movie "The Undead" (1957), the action movie "Daddy-O" (1959) with Dick Contino and "Attack of the Giant Leeches" (1960). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the horror flick "The Wasp Woman" (1960) with Susan Cabot, "The Haunted Palace" (1963) and the action picture "Hell's Angels on Wheels" (1967) with Adam Roarke. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "My Mother the Car" (NBC, 1965-66). Vesota more recently appeared in "Something Evil" (CBS, 1971-72).
