Camille Sullivan

Camille Sullivan played a number of intriguing characters in Canadian television series, most notably Detective Suki Taylor on the crime drama "Da Vinci's Inquest" (CBC 1998-2005), which she joined in its fifth season. Sullivan's early Canadian television work led to small roles in films such as the acclaimed Christopher Guest mockumentary "Best in Show" (2000). During her time on "Da Vinci's Inquest," she also landed a recurring part in the science fiction mini-series "Taken" (Sci-Fi 2002) and a small role in the Ashton Kutcher-led thriller "The Butterfly Effect" (2004). Continuing to work mostly in her native Canada, Sullivan re-teamed with "Da Vinci's Inquest" creator Chris Haddock for the dark crime drama "Intelligence" (CBC 2006-07), in which she played troubled Francine Reardon, the ex-wife of a crime boss whose downward spiral demonstrated the effects of a drug-fueled party-girl lifestyle; fans of the show praised the depth she brought to what could have been a one-note character. That same year, she co-starred in "Normal" (2007), an ensemble film about seemingly disparate lives brought together by a car accident. Stints followed on the Canadian-made crime dramas "Shattered" (Showcase 2010-2011) and "Rookie Blue" (ABC 2010-15), which placed Sullivan opposite established character actor Callum Keith Rennie and rising star Eric Johnson, respectively. She also co-starred in a little-seen Val Kilmer thriller, "The Traveler" (2010) and an almost entirely improvised Canadian indie, "Sisters and Brothers" (2011). In 2013, Sullivan began a recurring role on the American thriller "Red Widow" (ABC 2013).
