Gerald H Wonderful. Pure horror burning itself into your soul because of its relentless realism. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review Ricky R Terrible movie. The plot is unartistic in the character building, everything is a lengthy burden to even spend more than 5minutes on. Do yourself a favor if you're looking for any excitement or climax or thrills or substance this isn't the movie for you. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Lori B Original & Intense! Great story & acting. Go in knowing as little as possible. Highly recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Jamie S This movie is a slow burn, but the last 15 minutes of this movie are super intense and will keep you engaged Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review Randi C Good movie. Starts off as a slow burn, but not so slow that you lose interest. Sawa is a seriously underrated actor in my opinion. The twist in this movie because apparent towards the end and it's a good one and the last 10 or so minutes are in your face and will shock you if you're not expecting it. 3.5 stars because although I did enjoy this movie quite a bit, I feel like the first half of it was a tension build (as it should be) and then it takes a turn, slows down for a minute and then all of the action comes on at once. It's in your face and rushed. Still a good movie, I feel like the latter half should have been played out more. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Jeffrey P A fairly adequate wilderness thriller despite being on the slower side, kept waitiing for something to happen to accelerate things and nothing did. Too much time on the conflict with wolves, bears and deers; not enough on the human conflict. Nice ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle When that needle drop ends, souls have been broken. That's what makes Hunter Hunter an extraordinary entry in the modern horror canon. Rated: 4/5 Jan 4, 2021 Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News Though more meat is needed on its narrative bones, Shawn Linden's backwoods horror creepfest is a mean-spirited parable about finding out who the ultimate monster is - beast or man? Rated: 2.5/4 Dec 31, 2020 Full Review Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It's a very spare slow-burn, and [writer-director] Sean Lindon achieves a lot here... I was impressed by this little movie. Dec 22, 2020 Full Review Jessica Scott Nightmarish Conjurings Redefining the big bad wolf, this gut punch of a film is suspenseful, unnerving, and brutal. Oct 17, 2022 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies “Hunter Hunter” is a movie that quietly lures you in by building an interesting family dynamic worth investing in. The characters feel authentic which makes their tense and eventually frightening story resonate.
