Connie Francis brought her musical talents to a variety of films over the course of her Hollywood career. Francis's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the musical "Where the Boys Are" (1960) with Dolores Hart, "Follow the Boys" (1963) and "When the Boys Meet the Girls" (1965). She had a part on the television special "Dick Clark Presents the Rock 'n Roll Years" (ABC, 1973-74). Francis also contributed music to the adaptation "The Flight of the Phoenix" (1965) with James Stewart and the John Belushi comedy "National Lampoon's Animal House" (1978). Francis won a Special Achievement Award Golden Globe Award in 1963. In the eighties and the nineties, Francis's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Roger & Me" (1989) with Michael Moore, the John Mellencamp drama "Falling From Grace" (1992) and the comedy "My Cousin Vinny" (1992) with Joe Pesci. Francis's music was also featured in the Antony Edridge drama "The Big Swap" (1997), "Romance and Cigarettes" (2007) and the comedy "You Again" (2010) with Kristen Bell. Her music was also featured in "Another Happy Day" (2011). In addition to her music, Francis also appeared on-screen in "Bobby Darin: Beyond the Song" (PBS, 1998-99). Francis most recently appeared on "Hava Nagila (The Movie)" (2013).
