Cristina Rosato

Actor Cristina Rosato was already well known in her native Canada when she caught the attention of American audiences with her role in the series "The Art of More" (Crackle, 2015- ). Raised by parents who were both originally from Italy, Rosato spoke only Italian in her family home up until the age of five, when she began speaking French and English as well. After attending Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Michigan for a short time, Rosato decided to study acting in a place with a warmer climate, auditioning for a spot at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Armed with some serious training in her craft, Rosato then hit the professional scene and landed some small roles in Canadian films like "Pure" (2005) and "La dernière incarnation" (2005). In 2009, Rosato lent her vocal talents to the video game "Assassin's Creed II," voicing the character Caterina Sforza, a role she would reprise for the game's 2010 sequel, "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood." In 2013, Rosato auditioned for a role on a Canadian medical drama called "Trauma" (SRC, 2010-), which called for a German accent. Knowing that she could bring a greater level of authenticity to an Italian accent, Rosato performed the audition with her native dialect instead. Producers loved her choice so much that they not only cast her in the role, but changed the character's background to make her Italian. Rosato's reach would become more international when was cast alongside Dennis Quaid on the series "The Art of More," which was released via the online streaming service Crackle.
