Danielle Schneider was a Los Angeles-based comedy writer and actor who rose to stardom as a popular talking head on VH1's pop culture commentary show "Best Week Ever" (2004-09) in the mid-2000s. After graduating from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Schneider decided to pursue her love of performing in earnest. She started taking classes in improvisational comedy at the famed Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City, and before long was making a name for herself throughout the New York comedy world as a founding member of the popular improv troupe, Respecto Montalban. In 2004 Schneider began appearing as a panelist on "Best Week Ever," where she offered colorful commentary on the biggest pop-culture events of the past week. The success of the show raised her profile in Hollywood, and before long she started nabbing parts on various parody shows like "My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss" (Fox, 2004), "The Very Funny Show" (TBS, 2007), and "Crossballs: The Debate Show" (Comedy Central, 2004). In 2007, Schneider appeared alongside UCB alum Amy Poehler in the spoof comedy, "Wild Girls Gone," which led to roles in other movie comedies, including "Step Brothers" (2008), "Spring Breakdown" (2009), and "Freak Dance" (2010). In addition to her screen acting, Schneider also began writing for film and TV around the late 2000s, beginning with a gig as a joke writer on "The Very Funny Show" in 2007. In the early 2010s, Schneider continued to raise her acting profile by landing guest spots on such popular TV comedies as "Happy Endings" (ABC, 2011-13), "NTSF:SD:SUV" (Adult Swim, 2011-13), and the spoof webseries "Burning Love" (Yahoo!, 2013-14). Continuing with the webseries format, Schneider also began writing for and starring in the series "The Hotwives of Orlando" (Hulu 2014-15), co-starring former "Happy Endings" star Casey Wilson.
