David Gilliam
Actor David Gilliam was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. At the beginning of his acting career, Gilliam landed roles in action flicks like "Dirty Harry" (1971) with Clint Eastwood and "Shark's Treasure" (1975). He had a part on the television special "Bravo Two" (CBS, 1976-77). He also was featured in the miniseries "Master of the Game" (1983-84). He also landed a role in the miniseries "The First Olympics: Athens 1896" (1983-84). His career progressed to film, including a role in "Gunpowder" (1987). He also starred in the TV movies "John and Yoko: A Love Story" (NBC, 1985-86) and "The Fifth Missile" (NBC, 1985-86). Gilliam focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "A Time of Destiny" (1988) with William Hurt and "Severance" (2007) with Laura Harris. He also had parts in the miniseries "The Richest Man in the World: The Story of Aristotle Onassis" (1987-88) and "Iran: Days of Crisis" (1991-92). Gilliam most recently acted in the Dev Patel blockbuster dramatic adaptation "Slumdog Millionaire" (2008).
