Debrah Farentino
This attractive, brunette leading lady of TV series and longforms began in soap operas before making a successful leap to primetime. Debrah Farentino, then billed as Deborah Mullowney, played Sloane Denning, a senator's daughter, on the daytime drama "Capitol" (CBS, 1982-87), but changed her name during her much publicized marriage to actor James Farentino, more than 20 years her senior, in 1985. (They have since divorced and she subsequently married producer-director Gregory Hoblit).
