Alec B These kinds of thrillers require a tolerance for red herrings and twists that get progressively more ludicrous as they go on but at about the halfway point this movie takes a series of hard left turns so crazy you almost admire it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/10/24 Full Review Joy G Surprised at the low score, this is a solid 90's thriller. Kidman is best when playing a villain. Plot holes require suspension of disbelief but well acted all around. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/19/23 Full Review Steve D Completely unconvincing and ridiculous. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review alan p Bill Pullman excels in a classy thriller. If that weren't enough.. there's Brenda Strong and Bebe Neuwirth.. in the same film. Also Gwyneth Paltrow briefly appears. Also also Peter Gallagher is gorgeous. Tobin Bell is also present. The ending you must see. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Mike H One of my favorite twisty thrillers of all time. Cinematography, sound design and A-list cameos are amazing. Performances by the 3 main stars are all the top of their game. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review xx x One of the best thrillers of that generation. Good directing, the cast is superb in this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tom Huddleston Time Out A melodramatic thriller which did surprisingly well in the US given its implausible straight-to-video scenario. Undistinguished. Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Peter Travers Rolling Stone It's got suspense but no staying power. Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly The only thing that makes this ludicrous botch even borderline watchable is Alec Baldwin's enjoyably supercilious performance as a leering stud surgeon who thinks nothing of belting back shots of bourbon before going in to perform an operation. Rated: C- Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins In its efforts to be unpredictable, the film instead becomes unbelievable. Rated: 5/10 Sep 14, 2020 Full Review Chris Hicks Deseret News (Salt Lake City) Malice is a film that very much wants to be a combination of Body Heat and classic Hitchcock -- but how you take to it will depend on your patience with silly cliches and plot holes large enough to hide dinosaurs. Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Robert Roten Laramie Movie Scope The plot is twisty enough to keep you guessing through most of the film, but not all of it. Rated: B Mar 4, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
