Derek Hough
A multi-talented performer, Derek Hough's fancy footwork and charisma took his career from the stage, to a hit television show, and eventually to the big screen. Along with his equally talented sister Julianne, he first gained mainstream attention after joining the cast of the reality competition series "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 2005- ) as a professional dancer who transformed various celebrities - including model Brooke Burke and actress Jennifer Grey - into belles of the ballroom. Hough made "Dancing with the Stars" history as the first cast member to ever win three trophies on the top-rated show. His talent extended beyond the dance floor, including a starring role in the London stage production of "Footloose: The Musical" (1998) and forming the music group the Ballas Hough Band. Yet even with his successful ventures outside of the show, it was Hough's precise musicality, innovative choreography, and magnetic personality that helped turn "Dancing with the Stars" into one of television's most watched and beloved programs.
