[...] The irresistibly dopey Make Your Move drops the spectacle endemic to most dance films in favor of a forward-thinking sweetness. [...] What the film lacks in authenticity, however, it makes up for in good intentions and simple pleasures. Go to Full Review

A slick, disposable soap opera about a poor white boy and a spirited Korean girl who fall in love despite hailing from rival corners of Brooklyn's club scene. Go to Full Review

"Make Your Move" shows us the whole dancer. These sequences really move in a way that feels organic. Go to Full Review

Its lack of sparks on the dance floor are matched by the sense of alienation when the dancing stops. Go to Full Review

The type of film that could very well turn into a guilty pleasure or could have gotten a lot of ratings had it aired as a TV movie, but doesn't have the chops to keep its hold on audiences on the big screen. Go to Full Review

farah r @Farah 04/13/2016 The disaster lineage of dance flicks that Step Up started has to stop. See more 03/12/2016 awesome movie it shows you can accomplish anything if you try and nothing can come between love its kinda like a present day of Romeo and Juliet. See more 06/25/2015 choreography was pretty awesome See more 05/30/2015 A cheesy B-movie. If you like the Step Up series, you'll probably enjoy the movie. If you love Derek Hough (as I do), you will probably enjoy the movie. If you like tap dance or the Taiko drumming style, you will also enjoy the movie. The dancing is hot, the writing not so much. See more 01/13/2015 BOA needs to stick to singing & dancing, because her acting really sucks. They should not have made her the main character. Terrible acting by BOA. See more 10/23/2014 "Make your move" really lacks any strong points. There's not that much dancing and most of the dancing is tap dancing, which is honestly not that interesting to watch. Really a waste of talent since the lead actress is one of the world's top 100 dancers. Some fan service to K-pop fans since the movie is produced by SM Entertainment, but this can't save the movie since it's also a cliche story with cliche behavior. Worth to watch once if you have nothing else to do but forgettable since the movie - despite the happy ending - doesn't leave you with a happy feeling. See more Read all reviews
