Donald Kerr
Donald Kerr was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kerr began his acting career with roles in such films as "George White's 1935 Scandals" (1935), "The Dragnet" (1936) and "Forty Naughty Girls" (1937). He also appeared in "Circus Girl" (1937), "Four Daughters" (1938) and "Mad Youth" (1939). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the forties, appearing in the musical "And the Angels Sing" (1944) with Dorothy Lamour, "Practically Yours" (1944) and "The Man Who Walked Alone" (1945). He also appeared in the crime feature "Murder Is My Business" (1946) with Hugh Beaumont. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" (1953) with Bud Abbott, the crime flick "The Glass Web" (1953) with Edward G Robinson and the Rory Calhoun western "Four Guns to the Border" (1954). He also appeared in the Dean Martin comedy "Three Ring Circus" (1954) and "There's No Business Like Show Business" (1954). Kerr last acted in the Nico Minardos crime picture "Twelve Hours to Kill" (1960). Kerr passed away in January 1977 at the age of 86.
