Steve D Not their best but fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this was an okay film but definitely not one of A&C's best, the scene where Bud kept changing the clock on Lou so he could have his turn sleeping was hilarious, this is one film where the first half was better than the second half, other than the "sleeping routine" scene this was a forgettable effort by A&C. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A nice addition to the dynamic duo's previous works. Though not as much gags as you might expect or were hoping for it still is a wonderful experience. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This is pretty standard for them. It's nothing bad and nothing great. The part where Abbott kept changing the clock so he could sleep was hilarious though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Another Abbott and Costello movie that I never got a chance to see on TV. Don't believe this one got much air play, which is a shame as its up there with their best. Working in San Francisco as firemen they save a love sick miner from Alaska from jumping in the river to end it all. Somehow they end up in Alaska to join with the lady of the miners dreams to recover and move his gold before others get it. Many funny routines throughout this film Good clean comedy from an era when clean comedy was COMEDY. 4 Stars Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Weak film by A&C and the gags seem to get tired as the film goes on, there were a few good moments but overall I would rank this one of the boys weaker films, avoid this film and focus on their 1940s films Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
