Edward Colmans rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Colmans started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Secret of the Incas" (1954) with Charlton Heston, "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing" (1955) with William Holden and the adventurous drama "Santiago" (1956) with Alan Ladd. He also appeared in the dramatic adventure "Istanbul" (1957) with Errol Flynn. His film career continued throughout the fifties and the sixties in productions like the adventure "The Gun Runners" (1958) with Audie Murphy and the Edmond O'Brien thrilling adaptation "The Third Voice" (1960). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Nine Lives of Elfego Baca" (ABC, 1958-1960).
