Etienne Girardot
Etienne Girardot was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Girardot began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Blood Money" (1933), the mystery "The Kennel Murder Case" (1933) with William Powell and the Margaret Sullavan drama "Little Man, What Now?" (1934). He also appeared in "Fashions of 1934" (1934), the crime picture "The Dragon Murder Case" (1934) with Warren William and "Mandalay" (1934) with Kay Francis. His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like the drama "Metropolitan" (1935) with Lawrence Tibbett, the Edward G Robinson comedy "The Whole Town's Talking" (1935) and "In Old Kentucky" (1935). He also appeared in "I Live My Life" (1935). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the Brian Aherne biopic "The Great Garrick" (1937), "Wake Up and Live" (1937) and "Danger - Love at Work" (1937). He also appeared in "Breakfast For Two" (1937) and the comedy "There Goes My Heart" (1938) with Fredric March. Girardot was most recently credited in "Isle of Destiny" (1940). Girardot passed away in November 1939 at the age of 83.
