Ezio Pinza
Italian by birth, Ezio Pinza was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of Hollywood films. His music was also used in the John Belushi action film "The Blues Brothers" (1980) and the drama "My Life" (1993) with Michael Keaton. Pinza marked his early career with roles in "Carnegie Hall" (1947), "The All-Star Revue" (NBC, 1950-53) and "Mr. Imperium" (1951). Pinza's music was most recently featured in "Only You" (1994). Pinza passed away in May 1957 at the age of 65.
