Frank McGlynn
Frank McGlynn was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McGlynn began his acting career with roles in such films as "Gloria's Romance" (1916), the comedic drama "The Poor Little Rich Girl" (1917) with Mary Pickford and "America" (1924) with Neil Hamilton. He also appeared in the Marie Dressler comedy "Min and Bill" (1930), the drama "Lady and Gent" (1932) with George Bancroft and "Frisco Jenny" (1933). He continued to act in productions like the Buck Jones western "Unknown Valley" (1933), "Little Miss Marker" (1934) with Adolphe Menjou and "Lost in the Stratosphere" (1934). He also appeared in the Richard Barthelmess western "Massacre" (1934). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "The Trail of the Lonesome Pine" (1936), the Henry Hunter crime feature "Parole!" (1936) and the action flick "The Last of the Mohicans" (1936) with Randolph Scott. He also appeared in "King of the Royal Mounted" (1936) and the Warner Baxter biographical drama "The Prisoner of Shark Island" (1936). McGlynn more recently acted in the musical "Hollywood Barn Dance" (1947) with Ernest Tubb. McGlynn passed away in May 1951 at the age of 85.
