Frédéric Lemay
Canadian actor Frédéric Lemay graduated from juvenile roles on television in his native country to starring roles as complex young men in such critically praised features as "The Lion's Path" (2015) and "My Enemies" (2015). Born September 19, 1986 in Canada, Lemay began his career as a child actor with minor parts in several French-Canadian features before earning his big break with a supporting role on the hugely popular family drama "Ramdam" (Tele-Quebec, 2001-08). He was cast as the lead in several short films before receiving his formal acting education at the National Theatre School of Canada in 2012. After graduation, he divided his time between Canadian features like "Louis Cyr" (2013), a biopic of the famed French Canadian strongman, and episodic television. In 2015, Lemay earned two breakout film projects: in "My Enemies," he played a twenty-something writer who begins a complicated romance with an elderly pianist (Louise Marleau), while in Stéphan Beaudoin's independent drama "The Lion Path" (2015), he starred as a young man who falls in with a community led by a charismatic but domineering therapist.
