Frederick Treves
Frederick Treves rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Treves started off his acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in the Sidney Poitier drama "The Mark of the Hawk" (1958), "On a Paving Stone Mounted" (1978) and the John Thaw action film "Sweeney 2" (1978). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Elephant Man" (1980) with Anthony Hopkins and the drama "Country" (1981) with Leo McKern. He continued to act in productions like "Death of a Son" (1988), "The Fool" (1991) with Derek Jacobi and "Paper Mask" (1991). He also appeared in the Elizabeth Hurley romance "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" (1993). He also was featured in the TV movies "The Young Indiana Jones: Treasure of the Peacock's Eye" (Family Channel Studios, 1994-95) and "Inspector Alleyn: Scales of Justice" (1994-95). Treves most recently appeared in "The Cazalets" (PBS, 2001-02).
