Fritz Kortner
Fritz Kortner was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1947, he moved to Germany. Kortner found his beginnings in film with roles in "Pandora's Box" (1928) and "Die Frau Nach der Man Sich Sehnt" (1929). Kortner began to focus on film after appearing in "The Strange Death of Adolf Hitler" (1943), the drama "Backfire" (1946) with John Hodiak and "The Brasher Doubloon" (1947) with George Montgomery. He also appeared in the drama "The Razor's Edge" (1947) with Tyrone Power. Later in his career, Kortner acted in the Merle Oberon spy thriller "Berlin Express" (1948). Kortner had zero children. Kortner passed away in July 1970 at the age of 78.
